Introduction: Paul Meot on Conscious Automation & Soul-Led Strategy
In an era where artificial intelligence dominates the headlines, most conversations revolve around productivity, speed, and disruption. But what if AI and automation weren’t just tools to work faster—but also smarter, more consciously, and in alignment with our emotional well-being?
On today’s episode of the Luxury Unplugged Podcast, host Neeti Keswani sits down with Paul Meot—automation strategist, co-founder of Automations 24, and host of the podcast Control + Alt + Delete + Repeat. Paul is not only helping businesses scale with cutting-edge tools—he’s also helping entrepreneurs and founders rethink the way we engage with technology by aligning it with values, inner peace, and sustainable growth.
From corporate burnout to building a soul-aligned business model, Paul’s journey reflects what many conscious entrepreneurs are navigating today: how to merge automation with intention.
Q&A: Neeti Keswani in Conversation with Paul Meot
Neeti: Paul, welcome! Let’s dive right in. You’re an automation strategist—tell us what you actually do and how Automations 24 helps businesses.
Paul: Thanks, Neeti! Automations 24 is a process improvement organization. We remove what I call the “digital rock in your shoe.” We specialize in low-code, no-code automation solutions that integrate with a business’s current tech stack. We use AI to optimize processes—but in a way that aligns with the people behind those processes. It’s not just about tech. It’s about creating a system that supports human productivity and creativity.
Neeti: Powerful. But you didn’t come here by accident—you transitioned from corporate life. Was there a turning point that led to this shift?
Paul: Oh yes. It wasn’t by choice at first. I spent years at organizations like General Motors and ZF, generating millions in savings through procurement and system redesign. But eventually, I realized I had become the very system I was managing—waking up at 3:30 AM, constantly firefighting, solving everyone’s problems except my own. When my corporate chapter closed, I decided to build a business that placed the person behind the process at the center. That decision—slow and full of learning—became my turning point.
Neeti: That insight really aligns with our ethos at Luxury Unplugged. Tell me, how do you apply spiritual systems thinking in your work?
Paul: The intention behind the tool is everything. AI isn’t good or bad—it’s neutral. It’s the way we use it that makes the difference. I lean on stoic philosophy a lot. Tools should amplify our values and domains of excellence. But too many entrepreneurs become their business—they don’t separate from it. For me, automation exists to enhance life, not consume it. The key is building a structure that supports your purpose and doesn’t sabotage your peace.
Neeti: You talk a lot about the “messy” side of growth on your podcast Control + Alt + Delete + Repeat. What are some of the raw truths you discuss?
Paul: We spotlight stories that don’t make it to LinkedIn highlight reels. Things go wrong. Tools glitch. Strategies fail. But within that mess is a lesson. On the show, we ask our guests: What would you delete, control, or repeat in your journey? One quirky segment even asks: “What would a squirrel do in your business situation?” It opens up the imagination. The rawness of it? That’s what makes it powerful.
Neeti: What kind of legacy are you building through Automations 24?
Paul: I want to leave behind a new kind of business model—one that’s flexible, modular, and human-centered. We’re living through a tech revolution, and legacy systems are being upended. I want to help businesses design infrastructure that adapts to change and amplifies the unique genius of their people. My goal is to contribute to the success of many businesses by being their strategic and automation arm—quietly supporting their growth behind the scenes.
Neeti: Do you think Open Source AI is playing a role in leveling the playing field for small businesses?
Paul: 100%. Open AI and tools like ChatGPT are gateways. They make AI accessible to non-tech people. But here’s the catch: the confidence with which AI outputs information—even when it’s wrong—can mislead. We need a new level of discernment. If used well, open source AI can help solopreneurs become thought leaders and legacy builders. But they must learn the art of prompting and understand the fundamentals.
Neeti: That leads perfectly into my next question. How should business owners audit their tech stack? And how does Automations 24 support that?
Paul: Ask yourself: If this tool were an employee, and I fired it, what would break? If the answer is “nothing,” it’s not serving you. Many business owners don’t have time to audit their stack—they’re buried in operations. That’s where we come in. We evaluate what’s working, recommend modular improvements, and even build the automations ourselves. Think of us as your in-house development arm—without the overhead.
Neeti: That’s such a supportive model. So, in practical terms, you both audit and execute, right?
Paul: Absolutely. Once we identify inefficiencies, we design, develop, and deploy automations tailored to the business. The IP belongs to the company. Our role is strategic and deeply collaborative. We aren’t replacing people—we’re empowering them. Many companies miss that. The tools are there, but implementation gets overwhelming. We take that burden and convert it into scalable systems.
Neeti: You mentioned something profound—“paradigm clemency.” Can you explain that in the context of AI?
Paul: Sure. Paradigm clemency is the ability of a company to adapt its internal culture based on external change. With AI moving fast, companies need this trait more than ever. We guide businesses through digital transformation by honoring their unique culture while adapting their systems. Spiritual branding isn’t fluff—it’s about energetic alignment. Your systems should reflect your soul as a business.
Neeti: Let’s talk about burnout. What advice do you have for high achievers trying to balance ambition with inner peace?
Paul: First: believe in yourself, even when imposter syndrome kicks in. Then, get real about your inputs vs. outcomes. Ask: Am I spending time on tasks that bring ROI and joy? Or am I buried in tasks I hate? Then delegate, automate, or eliminate. Know your energy patterns. Respect your boundaries. Sometimes doing nothing for 6 hours is more strategic than burning out.
Neeti: Beautifully said. What daily rituals keep you grounded while running a company, parenting, and writing?
Paul: I block out quiet time on my calendar. I tell myself it’s “strategy time,” but really, I’m meditating, mapping ideas, journaling, and visualizing next steps. It’s an inner recalibration. I also find energy in action—reading research, writing, helping clients. It excites me. And when your work energizes you, it becomes a form of healing and clarity.
Neeti: You’re also writing a book—how do you make time?
Paul: Writing is a joy and a necessity. I’m a doctoral candidate at U of M, researching digital infrastructure and its impact on conscious business. I’ve got three kids, and somehow, I thrive when I’m busy—but only when that busyness feels aligned. My advice to entrepreneurs: Lean into your domain. Lean into what lights you up. It makes time feel expansive.
Neeti: One last question. For someone stuck between burnout and ambition, what’s one powerful question they can ask themselves?
Paul: Ask: “What am I spending most of my time on, and does it lead to joy or ROI?” That question cuts through the noise. Most of the time, we discover people are doing tasks they hate that don’t move the needle. That awareness creates change. You can’t automate a dream, but you can remove the drag.
Final Thoughts: AI with Soul
Paul Meot reminds us that the future of automation isn’t about replacing humans—it’s about empowering them. His philosophy merges spiritual systems thinking with tangible business results. And that’s the future of conscious entrepreneurship: tools that don’t just work—but heal, streamline, and align.
This episode was more than a conversation about AI. It was a masterclass in how to design businesses that honor our values, time, and emotional health.
