Welcome to the Luxury Unplugged Podcast — where luxury meets spirituality and success stems from self-awareness. I’m your host, Neeti Keswani, Business Storytelling Coach and Ho’oponopono Practitioner. Today, we’re unpacking one of the most transformational yet common struggles: feeling stuck. This Q&A-style blog is here to help you break that loop. Whether you’re stuck in a job that doesn’t serve you anymore, or you’re silently waiting for a “sign” before taking action — this is your guide to rediscovering purpose, one small, intentional step at a time.

Q1. Why do so many people feel “stuck” even when life looks good on the outside?

We often associate “stuckness” with failure, but that’s not always the case. You could be working in a prestigious role, have a supportive family, and still feel like something’s missing. Why? Because outward success doesn’t always align with inner fulfillment. As we evolve, our values and goals change — but our routines and identities often don’t. That creates a quiet, uncomfortable friction. You might feel out of sync with your day-to-day life because your soul craves expansion while your lifestyle supports safety. And when fear of judgment, overthinking, or lack of clarity sets in, it becomes easier to stay in the loop of inertia rather than move forward. At Luxury Unplugged Podcast, we talk about real success — not just the kind you post online, but the one that feels like truth inside your body. Recognizing stuckness is actually a spiritual wake-up call. It means your higher self is inviting you to level up.

Q2. How can someone identify whether they’re truly stuck or just going through a phase?

The simplest sign? You keep postponing action. When someone is just having a tough week, they still hold clarity about their direction — even if they’re tired. But when you’re stuck, decision-making feels paralyzing. You might want change, yet simultaneously sabotage every next step with self-doubt or “logical” excuses. You overthink even small decisions. You scroll endlessly. You procrastinate. You tell yourself, “Maybe later.” And here’s the truth — the discomfort of stuckness isn’t just mental. It shows up physically too: fatigue, tightness in the chest, low energy, brain fog. If your authentic self has been silenced long enough, your body starts revolting. Ask yourself: “Have I outgrown the life I’m living right now?” If the answer is yes, it’s not just a phase — it’s a call to reinvent.

Q3. What is the first step someone should take when they realize they’re stuck?

The first step is not external — it’s internal awareness. Before you change your job, relationship, or environment, pause and tune in. What thoughts are on repeat? Are you holding onto a story like “I’m too old to start again” or “I always mess things up”? That’s your contamination story. It’s not true — it’s inherited, outdated, and unexamined. Instead of rushing into change, reflect on the narrative that’s keeping you stuck. In our Winter ARC Challenge, we focus on daily micro-shifts: 5 minutes of stillness, journaling your thoughts, or asking yourself one powerful question like “What am I afraid of if I actually succeed?” Clarity begins with honesty. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. You don’t need to leap — just take a step. The first one rewires your entire trajectory.

Q4. What are some real reasons people stay stuck — even when they want change?

There are several, but let’s call out the core ones:

    • Fear of judgment: “What will people think if I fail?”
    • Perfectionism: Waiting for the “right time” or “perfect plan.”
    • Attachment to identity: “But I’ve always been the reliable one/engineer/mom… who would I be without that?”
    • Limited belief in options: Thinking it’s either this OR that — never both.

Many also equate change with loss. You believe that stepping into something new means leaving behind your current security, relationships, or image. That creates resistance. What I teach in Luxury Unplugged Podcast and my coaching is this: Change doesn’t mean cutting off your past — it means integrating it with new possibilities. You can be both grounded and adventurous, both safe and expansive. It’s not either-or. It’s yes-and.

Q5. How can someone shift from “inertia” to “agility” without burning out?

This shift isn’t about hustling your way out of stuckness — it’s about tuning into your body and emotions and aligning with your truth. The first thing to understand is that your nervous system needs safety to take inspired action. If you’re operating from anxiety or burnout, your steps will be erratic. So start with grounding rituals — 5 minutes of breathwork, Ho’oponopono meditation, or simply walking barefoot on the earth. These simple acts center your nervous system. Next, create momentum with small wins. Don’t set a goal of “changing your life” overnight. Set the goal of moving your life 1% forward today. One email. One walk. One tough conversation. That’s how agility is built — not from force, but from flow. Remember: Agility means movement with ease, not just movement for movement’s sake.

Q6. What role does spirituality or mindset play in this transformation?

It’s the foundation. Without a shift in mindset, even the best strategies fail. At the heart of every transformation is a spiritual reawakening — a moment where you realize that life isn’t just about tasks or goals, but about being fully alive. Your thoughts, emotions, and energy field influence every decision you make. If your inner world is chaotic, unclear, or unhealed, your external actions will reflect that. That’s why on the Luxury Unplugged Podcast, we integrate spiritual practices like Ho’oponopono, journaling, and breathwork into goal-setting. These tools clear emotional clutter and reset your inner compass. Your purpose isn’t outside you. It’s already whispering within. But you’ll only hear it when the noise settles. This is why I always say: silence isn’t emptiness — it’s full of answers.

Q7. How does “changing your story” help you change your reality?

Your story is your lens. It’s the invisible script you live by — often without realizing it. If your story says “I never finish what I start,” then every time you begin something new, your subconscious will sabotage it just to prove your story right. But when you consciously rewrite that story to something like “I’m someone who finishes what matters,” your actions begin to align differently. Reality doesn’t change first — perception does. That’s why we do deep identity work in my coaching. Changing your story isn’t about faking confidence — it’s about reclaiming your truth. Once your story changes, the way you walk, talk, connect, and make decisions transforms. You begin to embody your future self — not as a fantasy, but as a choice.

Q8. What if someone is afraid of losing what they already have by making a change?

That’s a very real fear. Many people stay stuck not because they don’t want more, but because they don’t want to lose what they already have — the comfort, the image, the income, or even relationships. But here’s the truth: growth doesn’t always mean loss. Sometimes, it means expansion. You don’t have to throw everything away to move forward. Start by reframing your fear. Instead of “What will I lose?” ask “What will I gain?” You can create a new path while still honoring your current reality. And if some things must fall away, trust that they were part of a chapter, not your whole story. Purpose is not found in clinging — it’s found in trusting your evolution.

Q9. How can one stay consistent on this journey of finding purpose?

Consistency is born from intention, not pressure. If you rely on motivation alone, you’ll give up the moment life gets messy. But if your daily habits are rooted in purpose, you’ll return even when it’s hard. That’s why I created the 21-Day Challenge and Winter ARC Challenge — to give people a structure for micro-progress. It’s about showing up, even when you’re uncertain. Keep a visual reminder of your “why.” Surround yourself with people who hold you accountable. And most importantly, forgive yourself when you slip. You’re not here to be perfect. You’re here to be aligned. Show up. Tweak. Evolve. That’s how consistency becomes identity.

Q10. What final message would you share with someone who feels lost right now?

You are not broken. You are simply becoming. Feeling lost isn’t a flaw — it’s a divine invitation. The fog you’re in? It’s preparing you for clarity. The discomfort you feel? It’s your soul expanding. You don’t need all the answers. You just need to take a step — any step — in the direction of your truth. Stop waiting for permission. Stop outsourcing your purpose. Start listening inward. As I often remind my coaching clients and podcast family: “Your purpose isn’t found. It’s created. One step at a time.” So today, take that step. The path will appear.

    Final Thoughts

You don’t need a grand plan to find your purpose. You just need the courage to move. Inertia is heavy — but you’re stronger. I hope this episode inspired you to take your next step, however small, with intention and grace.
